2024 SHOW HIGHLIGHTS & ATTRACTIONS

The Central Oregon Sportsmen’s Show returns with hundreds of fishing, hunting and outdoor recreation-related companies showing and selling newly released products and services.

All features and seminars at the Central Oregon Sportsmen’s Show are free with admission into the show.

RANDY NEWBERG

In the world of hunting, Randy Newberg is a national treasure. Known by many as the leading voice in public lands access and advocacy, Randy is an accomplished hunter and hunting educator.  His good sense is engaging and entertaining as he shares a lifetime of insights along with new approaches and information designed to make your hunting experience the best it can be.  Randy’s with us Thursday to Sunday and he’s developed, just for the Central Oregon Sportsmen’s Show, a new series of seminars.  You’ll find those listed in the Green Theater.  It’s a rare treat to have Randy at the show and connecting, one-on-one with fellow hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.

Addicted Fishing Mega Bash & Steelhead Alley Movie Premiere

Addicted Fishing’s coming to Central Oregon in a new and much bigger facility at the fairgrounds.  Their movie premiere has been playing to standing-room-only audiences around the Northwest and our last stop is in Central Oregon! Welcome to Steelhead Alley! Marlin, Jordan, Cameron, Nick, and Big Dave, embark on their first Great Lakes steelhead trip together. Flying from Portland, Oregon to good ole’ Cleveland, Ohio, they’ll be immersed in a completely new community of anglers with harsh winters, difficult conditions and different fishing strategies, but with the same fierce desire to crush some steel. Traveling to three different states — Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York — come join the Addicted Crew through the trials, tribulations and excitement of Steelhead Alley…the full feature movie.

Kids Free Trout Pond

Open every day of the show! Kids 12 and younger can fish for free and take up to two trout home if they wish.  Everything’s provided including the plastic bag to take them home! This is one of the most popular attractions at our shows and it’s become a “generational feature” with grandparents who caught their first trout in the pond now taking their grandkids.  And to make things really interesting we’ve added several trophy-sized trout in the mix as well…so hang on!

Huge RV Sale

The Central Oregon Sportsmen’s Show is the ultimate RV shopping experience. Nowhere else east of the Cascades will you find so many RV’s, side-by-side, in one place to shop, compare and buy! They’re all here too.  Motorhomes, travel trailers, toy haulers, fifth wheels, overland rigs and more! The best deals of the year are at this show-within-a-show.

Boat Sale

Central Oregon’s definitely boat-friendly.  With so much water and recreational opportunities, the Central Oregon Sportsmen’s Show is the ideal venue to showcase the area’s best and brightest boating options. Fishing boats, wakeboard and wakesurfing boats, pontoons and more are at this year’s show.  Shop show-only deals on the region’s most popular brands and area’s top dealers.  It’s a rare opportunity to see so many different options in one place.

HEAD AND HORNS

With more than 10,000 entries since its inception in the mid-90’s, the Head and Horns Competition has logged hundreds of new records. For $30 our certified measurers will measure your antlers, horns, head or turkey beard. If your score doesn’t make the book you’ll get $10 back and you won’t qualify for the competition. The prizes are fantastic! Special thanks to our Head & Horn sponsors.

Wall of Kings

The Wall of Kings is one of the most impressive trophy displays to be found anywhere on the planet! It’s a collection of big game mounts that will amaze any deer or elk hunter. Beautifully preserved and incredibly impressive it’s always a great stop to browse and admire. And appropriately, you’ll find it close to the Head & Horns Competition.

Seminar Series

There’s new topics and speakers in this year’s Central Oregon Sportsmen’s Show seminar series.  Randy Newberg returns with “Marriage 101 For Elk Hunters” on Friday at 3PM.  His marriage advice for outdoor folk has gained national attention and, as Randy says, “I feel particularly qualified to discuss this subject as a husband that’s been happily married 35 years and hunts more than 100 days a year.” Outdoor writer Tom Schnell joins the seminar series with “Central Oregon Kokanee” on Friday at 2PM.  How about Columbia River walleye with Marc Brush or “Advanced Coyote Calling” with Gary Madison.  This year’s line-up is outstanding.  Check it out!
