Tom has been asked many times, ìwhen did you start walleye fishing? He remembers his father took him fishing on the Mississippi River near Red Wing Minnesota when he was a young man of 6 or 7. Over the years walleye fishing has become his passion. Tom was born in Minnesota and spent the 40 years where walleye fishing is a way of life. He spent many days fishing the Boundary Water Canoe area and several of the lakes throughout the state of Minnesota.
Tom Moved to Olympia WA in 1987 and traveled to Potholes on the weekends to fish. In 1996 Tom was transferred to the Tri- Cities and began fishing the Columbia River. He has met several new friends by fishing who in turn have opened many new fishing opportunities. Tom has fished the Washington and Oregon Tournament circuits with several different partners. Tom served as the president of the Walla Walla walleye club for three years and was one of the four founding members of Walleye Angler unlimited. He has also served as tournament director and weigh master for several tournaments. Tom has also sat on the Washington Fresh Water Fish Advisory board. Tom is enjoying retirement working part time in the fishing department at Griggs Ace Hardware in Pasco WA and spending as much time as possible on the water.
